TASC in partnership with the New York City Department of Education and the Department of Youth and Community Development is starting an Expanded Learning Time/New York City (ELT/NYC) pilot program.
DOE, DYCD and TASC will pilot ELT/NYC in 10-15 NYC public schools that serve students in K-8. ELT/NYC will increase student learning time by about 30 percent, with more time for mastery and broader access to enriching electives. The pilot seeks to lay the foundation for a re-envisioned school day. The application is due March 20.
