The Daily News reports on TASC's pilot project to expand the school day or school year in up to 15 New York City elementary and middle schools, beginning next year.
TASC is partnering with the New York City Department of Education and the Department of Youth and Community Development to help children by giving them an additional 30 percent of learning time, and by providing pilot schools with new resources to expand and enrich the curriculum with music, arts, fitness and other activities.
