The Afterschool Alliance and MetLife Foundation honored TASC and New York City Commissioner of the Department of Youth and Community Development Jeanne Mullgrav.
TASC and three other organizations were honored by the MetLife Foundation and the Afterschool Alliance as "Afterschool Innovators" for their service to kids and families through high-quality after-school opportunities. Jeanne Mullgrav, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development, was honored as an "Afterschool Champion." New York City operates the largest municipally funded after-school system in the nation.
