Elba Montalvo to receive a 2008 Women in Public Service Leadership Award.
The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families (CHCF) Executive Director, Elba Montalvo, has been awarded a 2008 Women in Public Service Leadership Award in the category of Civil Society. This award is given by the Center for Women in Government and Civil Society of the University at Albany, SUNY. She will receive this award in Albany and it will be presented by New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) Commissioner Gladys Carrión.
