NY1 Reports on America After 3PM

NY1, the New York City all-news TV station, visited the Manhattan elementary school yesterday to report on the Afterschool Alliance's national survey of after-school participation. State-by-state data from the report found that 21 percent of New York schoolchildren are enrolled in after-school programs, compared to 15 percent of kids in the nation. New York ranked third in the report's "Top 10 States for Afterschool" list.
