What do students think about digital learning?

Project Tomorrow’s Speak Up National Research Project annually polls kindergarten-through-high school students, parents and educators on the role of technology in learning, in and out of school. After contacting nearly 300,000 students, pollsters report (PDF, 4.23MB) that students are frustrated by the way technology is used in their classrooms. I find it interesting that a far greater proportion of parents and teachers than students believe we’re using technology effectively to enhance learning. Among this report’s interesting findings is this: The subject in which students report using technology the most is English.
