Paul Verbinnen, President and Co-Founder of Sard Verbinnen & Co, has joined the Board of Directors of The After-School Corporation (TASC), a nonprofit organization that has helped more than 300,000 kids and families over nine years by supporting after-school programs that operate inside New York City schools each day school is in session, from 3 to 6 PM.

The February edition of the TASC eNewsletter is now posted to the Document Library for viewing. The eNewsletter is published every month and contains legislative analysis, funding opportunities, information resources, jobs, and practice ideas.

Lucy N. Friedman states that the president's 2009 budget proposal for 21st Century Community Learning Centers would undercut the stability of after-school programs nationally and lock out kids.
