This course provides complete first aid and safety skills, equipping individuals to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illness. Participants will learn how to identify and care for a variety of medical emergencies, including shock, severe bleeding and musculoskeletal injuries. Emphasis is on how to reduce the risk of disease transmission while providing care. Two representatives from TASC after-school programs may register. Certification is valid for three years.

Note: Attendance in full is required. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Certification must be renewed every three years.
