2008 National Conference: Summer Changes Everything

The Center's conference is designed to provide attendees with the resources they need to enhance and expand summer learning opportunities for young people in their communities. The general sessions, workshops, and special events should assist efforts to implement more effective programs and build broader support for high-quality summer learning opportunities. Connect with summer program providers, educators, school administrators, researchers and policymakers. This year's event will include opportunities to:

• Attend pre-conference institutes April 16 on relevant topics such as advocacy and leadership development.
• Discover the most effective program management strategies.
• Learn about and discuss the latest research and how it applies to your program.
• Find out what you can do to influence public policy and generate support for high-quality summer programs.
