TASC board member, Soledad O'Brien, will be the keynote speaker at the 2008 National AfterSchool Association Conference in Ft. Lauderdale. As a CNN journalist, O'Brien shares her insights on the political issues, inspiring stories and her experiences in the after-school field.

This year's conference focuses on three main themes: learning, linking and laughter. Attendees represent before school, after-school and summer school programs, youth-serving organizations, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, parks and recreation departments, and administrators from all public, private, faith, school and community-based sectors.
