The Institute is a professional development experience for educators and partners. It provides training and models -- supported by a variety of resources and strategies -- or developing and articulating a classroom, school, or program's approach to service-learning. Study groups provide participants with the opportunity to share their projects and enjoy feedback, suggestions and support from fellow participants.
The Institute emphasizes the use of service-learning best practices including interactive trainings and opportunities for dialogue with experienced practitioners. Structured planning and reflection time is provided for individual and group work to support participant needs.
