Short Description

The Viola W. Bernard Foundation was established to provide seed money for innovative mental health programs with an emphasis on families and children.

The purpose of the grant program is to support innovative programs that address the interplay between social conditions and the psychological health of children and families. Grants are generally limited to projects or programs for children and young people with a mental health component.

Preference is given to programs in NY, NJ, CT, VT, MA and PA. Grant applications are considered twice a year.
