Register for the Center's one-year professional certificate programs to advance your knowledge of youth work while you get on track for degrees, leadership jobs and higher pay.

Do you already have your Bachelor's degree? Then this low-cost career advancement opportunity is for you.

Earn nine credits at Hunter College School of Education, enroll in a new graduate-level, after-school professional certificate program. Classes begin in August and will cover effective teaching, child development and educational psychology.

New Summer Institute: "International Affairs and Civic Engagement" Global Kids is offering its first summer institute for 20 teachers and youth workers. Learn to incorporate Global Kids' methodology and approach into your curriculum to more deeply involve kids in learning about international affairs and civic engagement.

When: June 7 through June 11, 9 AM to 5 PM (breakfast included)
Where: 137 E 25 Street, Manhattan
What: Workshops on youth development, experiential learning and project development. Hear from representatives of organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations and Human Rights Watch.
