  • DonateTASC advocates with leaders to shape policy and grow sustainable public funding for after-school and summer programs. Our goal is to achieve fair and efficient support for programs and systems, and to meet the needs of millions of kids who have no access to high quality activities beyond the school day.

  • We develop and pilot models and strategies to grow after-school and expanded learning time opportunities that support kids’ intellectual, creative and healthy development, and that can be scaled to reach large numbers of students.

  • We work with numerous partners to encourage steady growth and development of after-school systems in New York and the nation. We also provide technical assistance to help communities develop after-school systems.

  • We work to provide after-school educators the training and college opportunities they need to do their best to support, educate and inspire kids, and to develop careers in this growing field.

  • We conduct and encourage research into the most urgent questions regarding quality and accountability in after-school. We also conduct evaluations of after-school programs.
